I have been tutoring individuals for over ten years.
I have worked with youth and special populations teaching skills focusing on experiential learning, discovering strengths, and empowering individuals.
My background includes working with people of all ability levels including many with learning differences such as ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and autism.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, which is where I discovered how I learn best. I have worked as an engineer for companies such as Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard both designing products and leading seminars.
I grew up in the South Bay of Southern California and am alumnus of UC Santa Barbara. Teaching has taken me to the desert of Joshua Tree, the waters of the San Juan Islands, the mountains of Colorado and to the beautiful coast of Maine.
In my free time I enjoy surfing, camping, bicycling, playing ultimate frisbee and spending time with my wife.
